Wa Wa Sum Trip

Wednesday, June 11, 2014 to Sunday, June 15, 2014
Michigan State Research Lodge on the Au Sable River, Michigan

Our annual chapter trip to Wa Wa Sum Lodge is a favorite. We stay at a turn-of-the-century (last century, that is) log lodge on the banks of the Au Sable’s “Holy Waters.” We fish all three branches of the Au Sable, the Upper Manistee, as well as the Jordan and Pine Rivers. If conditions are right, we will be fishing the famous brown drake hatch. Breakfast and dinner are catered: four breakfasts and three late lunches (everyone is on their own for dinner). Bedrooms and bathrooms are shared. The cost of this trip $400.00 and we are awaiting the final figure for this year. Space is limited so reserve soon. Driving time from Chicago is about 5 1/2 hours.
