Nohr Chapter “Fish with a Friend Trip”

I had the opportunity to connect with Todd Templen, president of the Nohr Chapter of TU, on a Saturday in June for a day of guided fishing and a tour of Grant County Wisconsin streams. The Nohr and EDTU chapters have a long legacy of collaboration. Jim Coursey organized the “Fish with a Friend” program with the Nohr Chapter many years ago. Each year four members of the Nohr Chapter donate a guided fishing trip for the EDTU Holiday fundraiser. At the 2013 Fundraiser I bid on and won a guided trip with Todd.

Spring Creek Trip

Friday, April 25, 2014 to Sunday, April 27, 2014

As usual we will be staying at the Westby Old Towne Motel, with the world famous (well, not really, but should be) Westby Old Towne Inn Restaurant right across the parking lot. Please don't hesitate to sign up if you are new to fishing the area or new to fly fishing for trout in general, as part of the experience will be pairing up inexperienced anglers with some of the old hats who can help you learn the lay of the land and hone your lying skills. Please talk to trip organizer Tommy Chew (contact information at the link below).

Spring Creek Trip

Friday, April 27, 2012 to Sunday, April 29, 2012

It may not seem like it outside, but Spring is almost here! And that means that the trout will be rising and the cheese curds will be frying up in the Driftless Area of Southwest Wisconsin. Take full advantage of the best fishing of the year in that part of the country by joining fellow Elliott Donnelley chapter members on our annual Spring Creek Trip. There are still spaces available, but we're filling up fast!
